The High Mountain Hay Fever Bluegrass Festival Board and volunteers are thrilled to invite you to our 16th annual Bluegrass event at The Bluff and Summit Park in Westcliffe, CO.
The stunning views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the friendly town of Westcliffe provide a magnificent backdrop for the festival, but it is the four days of nationally renowned bluegrass performers that set this festival apart.

High Mountain Hay Fever 2017 was another great success with close to 4,000 attending. The Festival Board of Directors, in conjunction with the Wet Mountain Valley Community Foundation, intitated the High Mountain Hay Fever Children's Health Fund and donated $30,000.00 as the first contributor. Proceeds from the 2016 Festival Beer and Wine tips and an additional $20,000.00 were also donated to the new fund . The Board authorized a $40,000 donation to the Fund in late 2017, along with $1,471 in Beer and Wine tips.
The High Mountain Hay Fever Festival Association is a non-profit organization run by an incredible group of volunteers working year-round contributing to a successful festival year after year. Lou Reid, a 4-time HMHF performer, and another HMHF alumni group, The Seldom Scene, both say, "High Mountain Hay Fever is a great, first-class festival, both in the past and present." The organization intends to avoid the sprawl and congestion of large festivals while offering nationally recognized bluegrass talent and remaining true to its motto: Small Scale—Big Time.
